Dog Friendly Pancakes

Pancake day is a fun day for all the family and your dog should be able to join in too. These dog friendly pancakes can be eaten all year round as a special treat.
This recipe is dog friendly and vet-approved.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Although this recipe is dog friendly, please check that your dog is not allergic to any of the ingredients below.
Note that this is a new food to your dogs usual diet so there is always a risk that your dog could get an upset stomach. You may want to test a small amount first to ensure your dog is happy to eat it and doesn’t suffer from the above.
Cooking Instruments You Will Need:
Mixing bowl
Whisk
Measuring jug
Weighing scales
Tablespoon and teaspoon
Frying pan
Ladle
Knife
Ingredients
1 medium free-range egg
180ml buttermilk
2 tablespoons peanut butter (with no xylitol)
64g buckwheat flour
2 tablespoons quick-cook polenta
½ teaspoon baking powder
2-3 tablespoons water
Coconut oil
How To Cook
1 - Mix the egg, buckwheat flour, polenta and baking powder together in a mixing bowl until you get a thick batter
2 - Add water if needed
3 - Let the batter stand for 10 minutes
4 - Heat your frying pan on a medium heat with a little splash of coconut oil
5 - Ladle the batter into the frying pan and cook for around two minutes before flipping your pancake and cooking for a further one minute on the other side. You can then add the peanut butter.
6 - Enjoy!
